Buying used car parts: what to check
Find the right used part by checking the listing, part number and compatibility before ordering from the On & Gone parts shop.
Start with the actual listing
Our used-parts shop displays the Shopify products we list for sale. Open a product to see its photographs, description, price, availability and purchase options. Stock depends on the individual items listed.
Compare the details before ordering
- Part number: compare the reference on your existing part with the listing, including any letters at the end.
- Vehicle: check the make, model, year, engine and body style described.
- Side and position: check whether the item is front or rear, left or right.
- Condition: read the description and examine the actual photographs for marks, damage and included fixings.
- What is included: check whether accessories, connectors or brackets are supplied.
Need help checking a match?
Send the product link or title, the reference from your existing part and your vehicle details to car@onagone.co.uk. You can also use the enquiry form on the parts page. A similar appearance alone is not confirmation that a part will fit.
Before paying
Check the listing's delivery or collection arrangements and applicable returns information. Ask us about anything missing from the description before placing the order. Only rely on testing or warranty information actually stated for that item.
