Red Wine Harvest Canvas

The red wine still life earns its place here in direct, confident terms. A glass and bottle of deep red wine sit before a large oak barrel, generous bunches of grapes spread across the scene, everything set against a dark backdrop that draws out the warmth of the colours. The realist approach gives each element its full weight: the sheen of the glass, the texture of each grape, the grain of old wood.

Kitchen artwork for homes where wine is taken seriously and expected to be represented on the wall as well as in the glass. Works in a dining room where a rich still life in deep reds and wood tones suits the available space, and in any kitchen where the appreciation for wine extends to what hangs above the table. A distinguished piece.
