🔁 VINShield Returns & Refund Policy

This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all orders placed on www.vinshield.co.uk, operated by VINShield, for the purchase of custom replacement non-OEM VIN decals, plates, and related products.

❌ Custom Products – No Returns or Exchanges

Due to the customised nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item is defective or an error was made on our part.

Each item is made specifically for your vehicle and cannot be resold or reused.

✅ Eligible Returns (If Applicable)

You may request a return or replacement only if:

  • You received the wrong item or it contains a production error

  • The product was damaged in transit

  • The product is defective or incomplete

In these cases, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.

🔎 What We Require for Return Approval

To process a return or replacement, you must provide:

  • Your order number

  • A clear photo of the item and the issue (e.g., damage or incorrect detail)

  • A description of the problem

We may ask you to return the item before issuing a replacement or refund.

📦 Return Shipping

If a return is approved:

  • If we are at fault (e.g., incorrect or defective item), we will cover return shipping costs

  • If you are returning for any other reason (e.g., customer error), you must cover the shipping cost

Returns should be sent using a tracked postal service. We are not responsible for lost return shipments.

💳 Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days

  • We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of suspected misuse, fraud, or violation of our Terms & Conditions

  • ⚠️ Non-Returnable Items

    We cannot accept returns or refunds for:

    • Custom-made VIN decals or plates that are correctly produced

    • Items damaged due to misuse or incorrect installation

    • Orders where incorrect information was provided by the customer

    • Any order suspected of being used for unlawful purposes

    • 🛡️ Fraud Prevention Notice

      By purchasing from VINShield, you confirm that you are the legal owner or authorised agent of the vehicle. Misuse of our products for unlawful activity voids any right to a return or refund and may be reported to authorities.
