Grapes and Glass Canvas

The impressionist tradition made its case for painting in natural light, with expressive mark-making that did not hide itself. This canvas applies that approach to grapes and a wine glass against an earthy brown ground, the loose strokes visible and deliberate, the warm light falling across the composition with the quality of an afternoon that has stopped to be recorded. A canvas that understands the relationship between wine, light, and the unhurried moment.

Kitchen wall art for wine lovers and anyone who takes the contemplative side of the table seriously. Works in a dining room as well as a kitchen, wherever a warm, expressive canvas can anchor the tone. Suits a traditional or rustic interior with natural materials, and any home where the best evenings happen over a glass.
