Emotional Tastes Canvas

Tachisme arrived in post-war France as a rejection of control: spontaneous marks, vivid colour, the act of making kept visible in the finished work. This canvas takes that tradition into the kitchen, a ceramic plate becoming the anchor for an explosion of abstract splatters in vivid tones, the emotional energy of the movement applied to the most domestic of objects. The discipline is in the composition beneath the apparent chaos, not despite it.

Contemporary kitchen wall art for homes with a genuine engagement with abstract tradition. Works in a space where a bold piece earns its place through visual energy and the intelligence behind the concept. Suits white walls and open interiors, and any home where art is not expected to be comfortable or easy to categorise.
